We had a vistor last night, a rather large and quite hungry hedgehog. He/She first appeared at 23:11 and then came back again at 03:14. It seemed to really like all the food, the spikes dried hedgehog food and the tinned cat food that I had put in there.
I’ll replace the food and water later today and hopefully it will keep coming back. Once we work out the gender we’ll give it a name. Steph thinks it might be a pregnant lady hedgehog, I think it might just be greedy!
Update…
He/She came back last night and really cleaned out the food again, unfortunately I had been messing with the camera so it didn’t record. Never mind though, I put in fresh food and water, some hay, an empty bog roll and a football for him/her to play with tonight!
